What We Do

Four Services, One Outcome: Better Hires, Faster

Resume Screening

AI-assisted screening plus human review by working Engineers, so 'Playwright expert' on a CV means something before it reaches your calendar.

Candidate Shortlisting

You define the bar, we deliver a ranked shortlist with evidence, skills verified, red flags noted, salary expectations captured.

Technical Interviews

Structured interviews by practitioners across QA, Automation, Developer, AI, and DevOps tracks, real exercises, not trivia.

Interview-as-a-Service

We run the full technical round on your behalf and deliver scorecards your hiring team can act on, cutting internal interview load by hours per hire.

Technical interviewing is a specialist skill most teams borrow

Hiring a QA or Automation Engineer well requires someone who can tell the difference between a candidate who has maintained a framework and one who has read about maintaining a framework.

Hiring a QA or Automation Engineer well requires someone who can tell the difference between a candidate who has maintained a framework and one who has read about maintaining a framework. That judgment is not transferable from general engineering interviewing, and in most organisations the people who have it are the people with least time to spare, which is why QA hiring so often defaults to a CV screen, a culture chat and a hope.

We do the technical layer of that process for you. Not recruitment: we are not sourcing candidates, negotiating offers or taking a placement fee on a salary. We assess technical capability properly, and hand you a defensible recommendation you can hire against.

What the assessment actually tests

Practical work, not trivia. Candidates diagnose a genuinely flaky test suite and explain the root cause rather than reciting the definition of an implicit wait.

Practical work, not trivia. Candidates diagnose a genuinely flaky test suite and explain the root cause rather than reciting the definition of an implicit wait. They design coverage for a feature under a time constraint, which surfaces whether they think in risk or in feature checklists. They review test code and justify what they would change, which is where the difference between a Senior and a competent Mid becomes obvious.

We also assess the behaviours that decide whether a hire succeeds in a real team: whether they write a defect report a developer can act on, whether they push back when a requirement is ambiguous, and whether they can explain a technical risk to a product owner without either jargon or condescension. Tool familiarity is the least predictive signal available and the one most interviews over-weight, it is learnable in a fortnight; judgment is not.

How it is delivered

Three shapes, depending on where your gap is.

Three shapes, depending on where your gap is. Interview-as-a-service: our Senior Engineers run the technical round on your behalf and give you a written assessment with a clear recommendation and the reasoning behind it. Screening: we filter an inbound pipeline so your team only spends time on candidates worth their time. Or process design: we build the assessment, the scorecard and the calibration guidance so your own interviewers can run it consistently after we leave.

The third option is the one we recommend most often, because it fixes the underlying problem rather than renting a solution to it. If the gap is skills in your existing team rather than headcount, corporate training is usually the cheaper answer, and if you need the capability working next week rather than after a hiring cycle, embedded Engineers start within days.

If more than one of these is true, it is usually cheaper to fix now than after the next release.

Your team can assess developers well and has no way to assess testers

Recent QA hires have not worked out and nobody can say why in technical terms

Interviews measure tool familiarity because that is what is easy to ask about

Different interviewers reach different conclusions about the same candidate

Hiring managers are approving QA offers on instinct rather than evidence
